Hope everyone is having better days than mine, lol. Alright, First. Malwarebytes isn't allowing Adobe Flash player 12.0 r0 to download. Second, Adobe flash keeps crashing all the time. Third, Spybot isn't picking anything up yet Malwarebytes picked up some 261 PUP.optional.outbrowse and I run both programs everyday. Also, what is Microsoft Security Essentials and is it even needed? Last thing I promise, I am receiving mass amounts of about blank tabs from Firfox and I cannot seem to do anything about it, also wierd tabs keep appearing. Sorry for the un-orginized list of crap but would be tight if someone could help me out.

Microsoft Security Essentials is just another Antivirus program (do you have one installed?)

You do not list your Operating System or any other details.
Please help us by running these few scans

First -
Download Screen317 Security Check and save it to your Desktop.
* Double-click SecurityCheck.exe
* Follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
* A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt
* Please Copy / Paste the contents of that document back here.
Note:: If a security program requests permission to access the Internet, allow it to do so.

Next -
Please download MiniToolBox to your desktop to run it.
Checkmark following boxes:
* List content of Hosts
* Flush DNS
* Report IE Proxy Settings
* Reset IE Proxy Settings
* Report FF Proxy Settings
* Reset FF Proxy Settings
* List last 10 Event Viewer log
* List Installed Programs
* List Devices (do NOT change any settings here)
* List Users, Partitions and Memory size
Note: When using "Reset FF Proxy Settings" option Firefox should be closed.
Click Go and Copy / Paste the result. (result.txt)

If you read the logs, FlashPlayer is mentioned quite often as an Error.

First open Control Panel > Programs and try to delete your current Flash version -

Now Uninstall Adobe Flashplayer and then download The Current Version

Both links are direct to Adobe Genuine sites.

Post back once you try these methods -

Do Not try anything else yet .............

Is, or was this computer part of a corporation (business) setup ?

2 items for you to do this time -

For your version of Spybot, please use this method to remove it.

Scroll directly down to  How to uninstall and follow the directions.

Yours is an older version, and is not required any more.

NOW -

Please read and follow This Topic up to the stage of removal of Malwarebytes program.

Use Version 1 if you have the paid (Pro Version) or version 3 if you have the Free version installed.

Read all of the directions fully, and ask if you have any questions.

DO NOT reinstall it yet. We can Reinstall it later (after this is fixed)

You also have an old install of Norton Antivirus listed, try and delete this from Programs and Features.

Any problems, I will give you the Uninstaller.

Always reboot after you remove any program to clear it out.

Clean out the Norton Internet Security program, as it is not working:

1 Download Norton Removal Tool (Save to your desktop)

2 Open the tool you just downloaded
(XP will double click, and Vista / Win7 Right click and select Run as administrator)

3 Follow any prompts to complete the process of completely removing all Norton Products. Be sure to read Terms of use, then click "Next" to let the Norton remover do its work.

4 Always Reboot after removal (Norton "may" reboot again once you restart).

Sorry, was away for a while due to other problems here.

Open Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) and click on SCAN. Is there any result like it finds problems ?

Can you do any thing now that you could not do earlier, and do you still have mass amounts of about blank / odd tabs from Firefox ??

If the scan from MSE returns nothing, reinstall Malwarebytes with these directions only.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Free (aka MBAM): to your desktop.
- Do not accept the Free Trial Version at this time -
Open up Malwarebytes > Settings Tab > Scanner Settings > Under action for PUP > Select: Show in Results List and Check for removal.
* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.

NOTE :If you think there are False results, do not remove any items like we normally would ..................

Just post a log of the findings back here so we can review it for you - - - -
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad.
* Post the log back here.

Be sure to restart the computer if requested.
The log can also be found here:
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\log-date.txt
Or at C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\log-date.txt

You may just have a corrupted version of the program, or a bad file -

Only if the MSE Antivirus and MBAM protection are OK, then we can look at reinstalling Adobe Flash

I ran a quick scan on MSE and it turned up nothing so I am running a Full scan now.

Your first link is to a.akamaihd.net, which will be installed via your browsing habits.

Often when you just click Next or OK without reading, these are the type of things you often agree to installing.

Please read This topic. With thanks to quietman7 for the topic.

These are the most common solutions to eliminating the pop-up ads.

1. Go to Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel or Programs and Features if using Vista/Windows 7/8. From within Add/Remove Programs look for anything in the list above and select Remove.

2. Open your browser and disable (uncheck) all extensions. Make a list, then one by one, re-enable each extension to see if the pop-ups start appearing again with that particular extension. Once you identify the responsible extension...permanently remove it but let me know which one it was so I can update the above list.
* How to Disable Extensions in Google Chrome - How to Uninstall Extensions in Google Chrome
* How To Disable Individual Plug-ins in Google Chrome <- try only if the above does not work

How to Disable Extensions and Plugins in Firefox - How to Remove Extensions/Uninstall Plugins in Firefox
* How to Disable Extensions in Internet Explorer
* How to Disable Add-ons/Extensions in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome

3. If the above did not resolve the problem, then create a new browser user profile.

You should have now Re-installed Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from the directions below.

Please run a Full Scan and Copy / Paste the log back here -

Alright I made a new browser user profile and it seems that fixed the pop up issue because step 1 and 2 from above wasn't the answer.

Hi -

Your second link leads to iLivid which is a similar program to the one above -

These are Advertising add-ons that come with other programs.

Now: Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode and save to your Desktop.
NOTE : Please close or save all work, as the computer will be Rebooted
Double-click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
Vista/Windows 7/8 users right-click and select Run As Administrator.
Click on the Scan button. (only once)
AdwCleaner will begin...be patient as the scan may take some time to complete.
After the scan has finished, click on the Report button...a logfile (AdwCleaner[R0].txt) will open in Notepad for review.
If you see any which you do not want removed, remove the check mark next to it.
Next: Click on the Clean button (only once) to remove the selected items.
You will receive a message telling you that all programs will be close so that the infections can be removed.
Click on OK, and then OK again to confirm the reboot.
When cleaning process is complete a log (AdwCleaner[S0].txt ) of what was removed will be on your desktop.
Please copy and the paste this log in your next post.

A copy of all logfiles are saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder which was created when running the tool.

Next -

Please scan your computer with ESET Online Scanner
Disable active Antivirus and Antimalware programs How To Temporarily Disable Your Anti-virus
This scan is best performed with Internet Explorer, as it uses ActiveX
If you will not use Internet Explorer, then please read item 3 in this post
1 - Open Internet Explorer and hold down Control (Ctrl) key and click on This Link to open ESET OnlineScan in a new window.
2 - Click the ESET Online Scanner button.
3 - For alternate browsers only: (Microsoft Internet Explorer users can skip these steps)
a - Click on eset.exe to download the ESET Smart Installer. Save it to your desktop.
b - Double click on the  icon on your desktop.
4 - Check "YES, I accept the Terms of Use."
5 - Click the Start button.
6 - Accept any security warnings from your browser.
7 - Under scan settings, check "Scan Archives" and "Do Not Remove found threats"

We will check them and remove them later.
8 - Click Advanced settings and select the following:
* Scan potentially unwanted applications
* Scan for potentially unsafe applications
* Enable Anti-Stealth technology

9 - ESET will then download updates for itself, install itself, and begin scanning your computer.
10 - Please be patient as this will take some time (first time scans are always longer).
11 - When the scan completes, click List Threats
12 - Click Export, and save the file to your desktop using a unique name, such as ESETScan. Include the contents of this report in your next reply.
13 - Click the Back button and then Click the Finish button.
NOTE:Sometimes if ESET finds no infections it will not create a log.
If you lose the log it can be found at C:\Program Files\ESET\EsetOnlineScanner\log.txt
If no infections are found then please tell me -
You can ignore any ESET detection of AdwCleaner...it is a false positive detection.

Next -
