Got a question here,I bought an Asus desktop about 6 months ago.To shorten the story a virus trash my hard drive.I have a recovery disc but can't boot from CD or USB.

Tried everywhere to find out how to do it but got no answers not even help from Asus tech.To be honest I don't understand this legacy or uefi crap at all.Previous puters I had I went into the Bios and changed the boot order, very simple.Anyway,I just bought a Dell Inspiron 3847 desktop and the same thing.I can't find out a way to change the boot order.Been in the Bios but no option that I can find. Can anyone help with simple instructions,Tony.

Change the UEFI to legacy and then try to change the boot order.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
