Locate PC with a monitor that does not present the problem.

Attach the problem monitor to that PC.

Did the problem follow the monitor?

If yes, check monitor.

If no, attach a monitor (to the problem PC) that has never presented the problem.

Does the 'new' monitor present the same problem?

THIS IS A FRIEND WHO CALLED ME,

I was told they tried 2 monitors on the problem PC,

It will be on the way here to the house,

They said they also checked cable & VGA pins, looked for any stuck keys on Keyboard..

The power button light stays lit as if it was still running... Just trying to get a head start..
