I have the Toshiba Satellite 1905-S303

I recently uninstalled a keyboard program (Logitech) and it seemed to mess up my EZ button configs - my EZ button does not work, and whenever the computer stars up it says it that it couldn't find a certain EZ button file.

I remember this once happening before, and I think I had to redownload EZ button, but I don't remember how I did that.

- While we are on it; I know there is a way you can freeze the mouse pad so that when you type it doesn't click by itself - but I don't remember how to do that either.

Thanks

 to Bleeping Computer, rebbsol:

I found the support page for your laptop here.

Searching the support page, I did not find the exact name you referred to above - EZbutton. Here's the closest items that I found...

Description: Toshiba Button Manager provides support for the CD-ROM and multimedia control buttons on applicable models.
http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su...gngdgnj.0&ct=DL

And I found this ...

Description: Provides system Fn hotkey support (Instant Security, LCD brightness , Display Switch etc.) on applicable models.
http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su...gngdgnj.0&ct=DL

Hope that helps.
JC

Your second question....

According to the manual on the support page, you can disable the TouchPad by using the Function Key(FN) + F9.

Hope that helps
