Having some trouble with this computer I'm trying to fix. It's currently running fine except for the occassional pop up or fake windows spy removal tool which apparently directs it to a porn site.

I'm removed SpyFalcon and I thought I removed Winfixer but the AdAware scan that just completed seems to have found it again, so that might be the problem.

I'm not a proffessional at this by any means, so I was wondering if anyone recognizes anything on the Hijackthis log. I'm still downloading Ewido, so I'll try to get that log posted by tommorrow.

Thanks for any help.

Welcome to BC :thumbsup:

===

Please download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri)
Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.

Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
I need that later.

NOTE: Do not run the other options of this tool yet until you are asked to do so.
