Not sure if this belongs in Genreal Security, but there have been B/C Site warnings.

I am aware of the McAfee problem, but this is new and unrelated -

I have had this several times recently - (New Server or ??)

CloudFlare has prevented logging in !!

I was logged in already, and got locked out for 10 minutes while changing topic.

Only 8.50 AM here, and I have just answered a question and was going to look at another.

Is there any known problem ??

All other forums were OK, but B/C took 5 minutes to re-enter.

Cloudflare is a service we use to help us deal with unusual levels of traffic. We were making some adjustments to the site which caused a disruption with Cloudflare.

Even when the site is offline, Cloudflare provides a read-only version of the site. However, since you can't interact with the site directly in this mode, it prevents things like logging in. Hence the error.

Things should be back to normal now.

Thanks Blade -

I thought site editing or similar may be causing this.

All is back to normal now - Plus I know for the future if it ever recurs .......

Regards -

EDIT - I do see one of the reasons already - :thumbup2:

I'm not sure if my situation is connected or a coincidence, but last night I got Error 520 and 521 blocking me from even seeing any part of the Bleepingcomputer web site, but I managed to see and log into this site only via Internet Explorer.  It was only when I disabled one of my Firefox add-ons and restarted my browser that I could finally regain access to see then log into this forum.  I then closed the BC web page, but even after I then re-enabled the add-on, BC still worked.

I'm not sure why I could view BC only in Internet Explorer and have to disable one of my add-ons, but your explanation about Cloudflare puts things into perspective.

I and others received similar errors for a short period last night. Grinler, the Site Owner, says he will be looking into it.

I doubt this about cloudflare. I was getting a cloudflare captcha page  when going to some of the sites I go to so I tried going to this site to download jrt but it keeps redirecting to the cloudflare capcha page so i downloaded jrt from my phone and ran it in my pc and it got rid of cloudflare. No more cloudflare capchas!
