I picked up a browser hijacker called sweetpage several days ago. I deleted and reloaded my internet browsers and ran a bunch of cleaner programs to get rid of it. Utorrent stopped working and I am unable to open many internet pages. Gmail and several other programs I have shortcut links for work fine but many links I try to open from a search page in chrome, firefox or opera just time out. All three have access through windows firewall.

I have run all of the progams on your sweetpage tutorial. Flushed and renewed both my dns and ip address from the command prompt. Nothing happens when I try  "ping google.com –t" with  the command prompt however "tracert google.com" gets through to my isp.

Can someone please suggest what else I can try? I swung past my  computer guy this morning but he has shut down shop during carnaval.

Thanks in advance
