Ever since my McAfee Security Center expired yesterday (it was a surprise too), my computer has had the following problems...
1) Programs load slower
2) Programs will close without loading completely
3) Certain Programs won't run with other programs running (get a message about memory)
4) I need to force quit some of my programs
5) After loading a game, the game froze and now my screen is large with weird colors (A dialog box told me that an "iarmnt5" wasn't responding and that i needed to reboot.)
Is there virus scan programs from the internet i can use, or is there another way to fix this?

Well, the first thing you should do is replace the antivirus! Download AVG Free, then go to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and remove anything that says McAfee on it. Then install AVG, update it (twice probably, since you'll get a priority update and another update the first time), and scan for viruses. Then see this page for more things you can do. (Unless you continue to have problems, you probably won't need to post a hijack log, but it's just good information on how to get and stay clean.)
