I have a folder on my desktop which contains links to all of my anti-virus programs and the like. When I click on the folder it does not open but I see an icon of a folder on the taskbar. When I rt click on the icon a box opens which contains frequently opened folders. When I attempt to open windows explorer the same thing happens. The program will not load and an icon shows up on the taskbar. I have run multiple programs searching for spyware, malware and viruses to no avail. I attempted a system restore and the restore point was not able to be converted. Any assistance is appreciated.
