When I run a game or watch a stream on Twitch my GPU seems to cause my entire PC to freeze up. One time, it eventually went back to my desktop and I got one of those windows bubbles saying '334.89 display driver stopped responding and has recovered' . My game (this happens across all games after testing) had crashed and I get some strange things happening like everything being black. Essentially, a manual reboot is required for anything to be functional. The initial mention of a 'driver' lead me to think it was a driver issue. However, after multiple driver clean installs the error still occurs and now the screen goes completely black after I ctrl alt del when my pc freezes. I have tried everything listed in the two links below (essentially, every 'solution' I could find) and cleaned out my whole machine of dust and it still happens.

I am currently doing the malware scan as advised in the first link to see if that resolves it. I have the card under warranty, but need to be sure that it is hardware at fault and not software before I sent it away to be repaired/replaced as this will take up to 28 days - that is a month without my pc as I have no backup card! I hope that you helpful people can once again help me come to a solution with this.

The card is the KFA2 GeForce GTX 660 2gb GDDR5 and I am running Windows 7.

edit1: Just to add, I went into Event Viewer and looked at the Errors that came up before the 'computer shut down unexpectedly' error appears (when I am manually restarting) and there are two that stand out. One is "The description for Event ID 14 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found." I have read that a downgrade to 314.22 fixes this freeze, but that didnt work. The other is "Notifications for the volume C:\ are not active. " - I am looking into this one now.

edit2: Using MiniToolBox, I have listed last 10 Event Viewer Log and Users, Partition and Memory Size below:
