Just wondered if anyone has ever seen this before, and what it might mean. Just got a new computer (W8.1), and third time I turned it on: BSOD but w/ no error codes, nothing. It wouldn't boot no matter what. Then tried f8 and it booted to the desktop but nothing would open.

Couple more restarts and it "seems" to work fine now, but does that blue screen indicate real hardware problems / more crap in the future?  I wish I'd just sent the damn thing back, but since it's now starting up....Any diagnostic recommendations you'd suggest at this point?  I saved a system image on an ex HD before doing anything, so there's that if nothing else...

thanks for any advice you give.
