I got  a new mouse.  And the wheel moves in 4 directions.  I thought that when I pushed it left it would make my browser go back but it doesn't.  It is a sculpt mobile microsoft mouse and I am running vista 32.  I went to the microsoft website and the listed drivers are for Windows 7 and 8.  Is it possible to get the mouse to go back when I push the wheel left?

Do you mean it worked in Vista?  It seems it was meant to work on Window 7 or 8 according to the online specifications.

I see many posts about using drivers vista to 7  and visa versa I would try the 7 driver.

The packaging did not say it would or wouldn't work on vista. It works fine other then the wheel left or right. I will try the drivers for 7.

I was wrong.  I see it on the package now.  I tried installing the windows 7 drivers and it told me I didn't meet minimum requirements of windows 7.  It works fine, but the back feature would have been nice.  Thanks for the help.

Yes that's what I just saw from this link http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/p/sculpt-mobile-mouse#details

Sorry to hear it won't work for Vista...
