Hi, I recently lost some video footage on my sd card and couldn't recover the footage. I tried several programs and even took it to a tech guy.  But he said if I watched it back on my pc before I lost it, then he may be able to recover it.  He said I would need to go through there and pull them out manually in the cache or temporary files or something like that.  I'm not very good at this, and I was wondering if I could get step by step info on how to do that.  I would take it back to him, but he said he may not be there tomorrow, and that's when I need the video footage by.  Can anybody help me with this? I would greatly appreciate it.  Thanks!!

Edit - I use windows 8 and watched it back with Windows Media Player. Anymore info that you need, just let me know.
