Hello I've been recently having problems with my windows 8. It takes about ten or so minutes for it to shut down and when I boot it up, there's a message that says my laptop wasn't shut down properly.

Any help is appreciated.

At what point does it get stuck during the shutdown?  Does it show the classic "The following programs are still running" screen?

The screen goes black but it turns off around ten minutes past it.

So far I changed my power settings to turn off the fast reset and my laptop is shutting down normally. Thanks anyway!
