I was looking at this dock from pluggable.com that turns a tablet (in the video the Dell Venue Pro 8) into a tablet.

Has anyone actually used one of these? The video is basically a commercial so it isn't big on specifics like running full screen video. Just curious if a tablet is ready to replace the desktop.

According to a reply by pluggable to the video full screen video isn't its strong suit.

"The Bay Trail is good, but you're going to be CPU bound or USB 2.0 bound on full screen video or 3D gaming.  So it's really best for productivity apps and web use."
