I assume you mean when you unplug the power adapter? There is a birghtness key somewhere on the laptop you hold FN key + the brightness key, it may be one of the F1-F12 keys or the arrow keys:

Instructions
    • 1

Press and hold the "Fn" button on your keyboard. The "Fn" key is situated on the left side of the keyboard, between the "Windows" key and the "Ctrl" button.

    • 2

Press the "Up" arrow while still holding down "Fn." Your display will brighten.

    • 3

Press the "Down" arrow while still holding "Fn." The display will darken.

    • 4

Release all buttons when the brightness is to your liking.

If I am helping you with a problem and I have not responded within 48 hours please send me a PM.
