Hi.

I have a 2 year old laptop that I just reflowed due to excessive overheating. The factory installed heat sync paste was silicone based garbage so I used silver based paste. It's running a lot better, but I'm still having some mild issues. Being (mildly) computer savvy, I ran TDSSKiller and Combofix to see what might be going on.

I can't even begin to wade through the mess though. Can somebody help me?

Hello Ashtaroth216, and welcome to Bleeping Computer!

Sorry for the delay in response to your topic! The forum can get busy at times, but I'm here to help you now!

My name is bloopie and I'd be glad to look over your logs for you! :)

But in order for me to do this, please copy and paste the logs in your next reply so that I can have a look at them!

If you're not sure where they can be found, see below:

  • The Combofix log can be found at C:\Combofix.txt
  • The TDSSKiller log can be found also on the C:\ drive, but with a name like: TDSSKiller.[Version]_[Date]_[Time]_log.txt
