does is a mute virus?

hello im new over here well i have a annoying horse one, all start when i was trying to instal a program that is supposed that i will help me to calibrate my monitor, all work great, but when i restart my computer, my audio divices didn't open, so i was able to use only my default speakers, but i used to change it with my headphones,but after that point i wasn't enable, until today now i can hear nothing it appear that my speaker are in mute,other problem is when i try to go to manage audio device never the window never appears doesn't matter from where i lunch it so i'm quiet screwed, and i try to restore my files with a day point. mmm and my computer is a new one i just build it so i don't know if i did something wrong but i don't think is a hardware problem,i think its a virus but i wouldn't like to install all again. so i hope someone can help me plsssss
