Can anyone tell me how much my external hard drive (Freecom mg 500GB) will lose storage capacity if I convert the HFS+ format to one compatible with Windows7?

A 500GB drive yields 462GB when formatted.

See chart at http://wdc.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/615 .
