Can anyone tell me how much my external hard drive (Freecom mg 500GB) will lose storage capacity if I convert the HFS+ format to one compatible with Windows7?

Sorry, I should have put this question to "external hardware". Don't know how to change it...

A 500GB drive yields 462GB when formatted.
