Been researching for my next new laptop (I'm hooked on ThinkPads) and although I've been trying to stay away from AMD processors I've found a deal I might just go for.  It's the ThinkPad Edge E535 with the A10-4600M processor.  Honestly it's the 750GB HDD and relatively low price that's got my attention.

So how does this A10 processor stack up against say an Intel i3 or i5 in the same laptop?  I'm guessing somewhat comparable to the i3 but not the i5?  This laptop will be used for music storage and just generally farting around, no gaming.

Hi, the A10-4600M is slightly faster then the i3 processors but it will hands down beat the i3, i5 and i7 in terms of the integrated graphics performance, overall the CPU power it can offer should be sufficient for "farting around". :)
