Is there any way in Windows 8.1 to change the new frowny face BSOD back to the classic one that actually gives you useful information. I know you can always go to the Minidump file to get the info, but I'd rather have it come up on screen during the crash.

This new BSOD still includes information.

You will see "If you'd like to know more, you can search online later for this error", a description of the error follows this message.

To the best of my knowledge there is no alternative with Windows 8.1.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

And I guess thats the most relevant part of the old BSOD screen as well. I just miss having all the other details.
