Reviews say the touchpad on the E530 is crap when, for the price, the rest of the computer isn't bad at all.  Is it possible to somehow swap out the E530s touchpad to one not as jittery etc?

Laptops, for the most part, are proprietary.  I doubt that you would be able to find an after market replacement.  If it is jittery I would suspect that it may be able to be resolved by software, either an update or adjusting the sensitivity of the pad.
