I have three missing drivers , one is the Network controller, one is called PCI simple communications installer and one is SM bus controller.

On the Asus downloads page i see VGA,   Utilities,   Bios,   Bios utilites,   Chipset ,   Audio,    Lan ,   Card reader,   Touchpad,    Usb ,   Wireless,   Bluetooth , others that say (Intel management engine interface) and ( Intel rapid storage technology driver)  there are also a few (Hotfix )without any expanations.

I am trying to figure out what i should look under for the top three missing drivers .

Thank you

Lan...is the driver for ethernet network controller.

The chipset driver likely contatins the other two.

It helps if we know which Asus board you have.

Asus makes motherboards and laptops...I just assumed that you had an Asus motherboard (my error) :).

The Intel chipset driver package should take care of SM Bus and PCI Simple Communications drivers.

You should have received a Drivers CD with the laptop...if you run it, it should automatically install any missing required drivers.

You can download the drivers from ASUS.  When the page opens you will need to choose your operating system and version, then the download will be accessible.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

Actually i'm way past that point ,  i have been on that page a billion times and even wrote in my first post every option listed on that download page ,  my confusion was out of all the options i listed in first post , where can i find the drivers i need and what are they listed under.

I think Hamluis got it right , thanks everybody.
