Blue Screen of Death - Problem with utorrent (Driver IRQL not less or equal)

Hello all


I am hoping you will be able to help me with a BSOD issue which is very similar to this topic posted in the Windows 8 forum. 


I have attached the following files and am hoping some cleaver genius can suggest a fix. uTorrent has all of a sudden caused the BSOD ... I don't know why ...

:welcome: to the Bleeping Computer forum.


Please try the below steps.


:step1: Update WiFi adapter driver.


Please check whether there is an update available for your TP Link adapter on http://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/


If there is an update available, download and save it. Then disconnect the internet, uninstall the old driver and reboot the machine. Now install the new driver.


:step2: Switch the torrent client.


Please uninstall utorrent and use BitComet instead. 




If the BSOD continues, please upload the latest crash dumps with next reply. Make sure not to use CCleaner until the issue is resolved.
