I'm running Windowns 7 home premium 64 bit version.

Yesterday my laptop started slowing down to the point that I couldn't watch videos anymore. When I checked ...Task Manager -> Processes... I noticed that the memory of explorer.exe kept increasing. Today it happened again and I noticed the same thing happening with google chrome and Skype.

Right now I have google chrome running and AVG scanning and I'm on 56% with 6 GB RAM.

(I read something about Virut being a possibility. AVG found nothing but there's an AVG Virut removing program running right now just to be sure.)

Do you guys know what's up? Or how I can figure out what is going on? What do you need?

I appreciate your help.
