I have windows 7 64bit laptop. I have Chrome installed and was having issue with Shockwave Player(not the issue). So I was getting this tabs opening by themselves. I downloaded Maxthon and had a tab open by itself so I waited for it to load said something about Coder Performer. Googled it and found that I should run adwcleaner. Since this started I have run adwcleaner, Malwarebytes, SUPERantispyware, Spybot, HitManPro and boot scan using avast. I have also restored to before this started and still have the issue. Is there anything else I can do or am I just going to have to deal with it? The only thing that I had downloaded before this started was an Adobe Flash update

Try resetting Google's Chrome browser settings. If that does not resolve the issue, then create a new Google Chrome user profile.

I do not use Maxthon so I had to search for these instructions.

To reset the browser search engine in Maxthon, please refer to:How To Create a New Maxthon User Account

Did that resolve the tab issue?

Generally an uninstall of a browser does not delete all folders, especially those which contain user profile and dat files.

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Maxthon
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Maxthon

These are the places where crap like you're dealing with affects the settings making it difficult to find with tools like Malwarebytes, JRT and AdwCleaner.

With most browsers, reinistalling does not overwrite the user profile and dat files so the issue isn't always resolved unless you do a complete uninstall to remove everything first followed by a clean install.

I didn't think uninstalling and reinstalling Maxthon would work which is why I provided the info I did for a clean reinstall.

Did you try the restore to default settings and creating a new user profile?

Create a screenshot, upload it to an image site such as Photobucket, Glowfoto, TinyPic or ImageShack and provide a link to the url address back here.

AdwCleaner should have created a folder located at C:\AdwCleaner. All AdwCleaner.txt logs are all stored in that folder including the Cleaning report log. Please copy and paste the contents of AdwCleaner[S0].txt in your next reply for review.

Please post the complete results of your last MBAM scan for review (even if nothing was found). To retrieve the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware scan log information, launch MBAM.
  • Click the Logs Tab at the top.
  • The log will be named by the date of scan in the following format: mbam-log-yyyy-mm-dd
-- If you have previously used MBAM, there may be several logs showing in the list.
  • Click on the log name to highlight it.
  • Go to the bottom and click on Open.
  • The log will automatically open in Notepad as a text file.
  • Go to Edit and choose Select all.
  • Go back to Edit and choose Copy or right-click on the highlighted text and choose Copy from there.
  • Come back to this thread, click Add Reply, then right-click and choose Paste.
  • Be sure to post the complete log to include the top portion which shows MBAM's database version and your operating system.
Logs are automatically saved to the following locations:
-- XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<Username>\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\Logs\mbam-log-yyyy-mm-dd
-- Vista, Windows 7, 2008: C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\Logs\mbam-log-yyyy-mm-dd

Of these Magic Tabs after they open.

Earlier you said...

Maxthon I have screenshots of the tabs

There are some types of Adware/Toolsbar which cause browsers to open new tabs but I have never heard of one called Magic Tab. And I have never seen such an issue return after the user has performed a clean install and created a new profile.
