hello all i could not really think of a better tittle then this one but i recently did a windows update and cleaned my computer.. its on a wood desk and the case has plastic feet so no worries of static discharge..

but when i booted up my computer and it was running on integrated gpu (gfx cards fan are spinning and my monitor is plugged into one) so one would think that they are working..

when i try and run Nvidia controle panel it says: "NVidia display settings are not avilble" --   "you are currently not using a display attached to a nvidia GPU"  but its plugged into the card.. im also not running on normal resolution

when i try and run EVGA precision X (fan controller) it says: "not supported hardware detected!"

i had to serch the files for the nvidia controler could not just right click desktop

how ever speccy can detect the GFX cards

forgot to say that it was working perfect prior to update and cleaning

forgive my spelling its not my strongpoint, and thanks for any help :)

I would try getting the newest driver directly from nvidia's website and when installing do the "clean install" option.

If I am helping you with a problem and I have not responded within 48 hours please send me a PM.

Glad to hear! It seems a lot of times updates can cause problems like this. The good news is usually the fix is to install the newest driver for the hardware that is acting up.
