Solved Kensington trackball Windows 7 compatability issue.

Kensington trackball fix win 7

Apparently Win 7 users have had trouble with Kensington Mouseworks install.




downloaded name will be 76TrackballWorks11Windows.exe 

to desktop, or where ever you like.


Right click the icon.

click properties

click compatibility tab

click compatability mode- select win xp(sp3)

click priviledge level –administrator

click apply.


Close the properties window.


Right click and run as administrator.

Reboot if directed to.


This worked on my Win 7 system.

If you have several users you may want to click apply to all users.
