On my computer there is a program called Intel- active management technology.

 

Do I need this ,   What would happen if I delete it ?.

it's for remote management on administrated networks. you don't need it, but I don't think it is enabled by default, well, I normally have to enable on i3 and i5 chips..

 

if it is starting on boot run msconfig and uncheck it for startup.

 

i wouldn't delete it... I just don't know what might happen, though probably nothing.

I was so excited when I first discovered ATM... spent days fiddling with it, until the novelty wore off.
