Hey guys,

Not sure which forum this goes in but this seems appropriate for my question.

All of the below is on a domain

Our users have a mixed variation. Some use Chrome which is great as you can log in to chrome and all your bookmarks etc.. are there.

Now I think you're getting my point.

With other Internet browsers specifically IE (which users favor over Firefox) is there a way you can bind bookmarks that are linked to an account so that when the user logs on from a different PC all their bookmarks are there.

So for example.

Bob Marley uses IE and has over 200 bookmarks. His PC breaks therefore he gets a brand new one. However when he logs on his bookmarks are no longer there.

-------------

My initial thought was, surely if all things are backed up to the sever, as long as they log on it should pull their account and all their bookmarks etc..

But then I realized that IE was a program and programs don't follow a  user.

Any input would be awesome!

This may provide some guidance on how to make a script to perform this when an account is created to move the Favorites folder to another location that is already mapped on the users profile on the server that way they will always have it.

Thank you!

I didn't think about changing the location.

Doh!
