I have a Toshiba c75d-a7213 Laptop and a Altec Lansing ada745 5piece speaker system with subwoofer. I connect them through the headphone port and it plays through the speaker but not the subwoofer and even through the speaker the quality of sound is horrible I get better sound fro my iPhone through this connection. Am I hooking it up wrong or are there settings to change? How do I make this work? Thanks.
