The topics shouldn't be locked especially when they are about two entirely different subjects. Very annoying in my opinion. Or there should be someway to get back into a locked topic.
As Queen-Evie says: A Malware related topic takes precedence over other topics. This is due to the fact that malware scans are run. Thuis is why we normally post this to a members topic if we know they have created a malware topic:You should NOT make further changes to your computer
(install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by a Malware Removal Team member, nor should you continue to ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes which may not show it the log you already posted. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the helper assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.
There is a way to open a locked topic. You can PM any moderator and ask them to re-open your topic. However as has been said, if you have an open malware topic you should complete that before moving on to other issues. Otherwise you have a good chance of wasting your time as well as those trying to help you.
The Internet is so big, so powerful and pointless that for some people it is a complete substitute for life.
