I am soon going to live in China.

I will have an advanced computer that is fast, big HD, and lots of RAM.

Any suggestions on security software specific to threats in China?

Anti virus. Root kits. Keyloggers.

I have heard that Emsisoft is good in China but Bitdefender is more highly rated.

Suggestions please. Anything.

I will use Online Armor. Firewall.

Major anti-virus and anti-malware software should work regardless of where you reside.

If you specifically want something from China, there is Rising Antivirus.

Hello -

I would also use Google to check for "Computer Program Restrictions in China".

(not to be critical) The Chinese have these days allowed more programs to be on your computer, but some are still restricted.

Expect your laptop to be inspected on arrival for programs and brand etc, as this is normal.

A family friend returned from a tour of China recently, so I am just telling you what he told me -

I do not mean to scare you, but 5 minutes of research may save you more trouble later

Regards -
