Hey guys,

I'll start from the very beginning. In the early morning of January 12 2014, around 1am, I started up a game because my parents just turned off the wi-fi. As soon as I double clicked on the shortcut on my desktop, the blue screen popped up. This is my first encounter of the infamous BSOD, and hopefully it will be my last. So I tried starting in Safe Mode and deleting that game. I went back to normal mode and it's still BSODing after I removed it.

Can someone help me figure out what is causing this BSOD? I will provide as much information as I can to help you as well.

Thank you,

Ryan.

Edit: It is BSODing after the 'Welcome' screen on start up.

First thought would be to update your video card drivers.

If that doesn't fix it you should probably upload a logfile from a program like BlueScreenView

Did I do it right? I'm not too sure what you mean by 'upload a logfile'.

Edit: I've already got the latest Catalyst driver from AMD

Quoted from Cryptodan:

Download BlueScreenView (in Zip file)

No installation required.

Unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program and When scanning is done, go to Edit > Select All.

Then go to File > Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.

Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

Okay it looks like disabling the USB 3.0 in the BIOS stopped the BSOD. My friend gave me this download link to some Etron update for the USB 3.0 and it looks like it's working good again.

Cheers guys
