I have a relatively new (4 months old) HP ENVY dv6, Window 8.0. During startup after I enter my password I get an error on one of several different files could not start, but the consistent message in the bottom part of the message says "uxtheme.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error"... and says something about reinstalling the program or contact administrator. I've tried everything...

sfc /scnanow

chkdsk

tried to repair

tried to recover

etc...

Sometimes it will continue the startup process to the metro screen or desktop, but normally it just has a black screen behind the message box. If it does continue to start into desktop I can do pretty much anything, but that error message box never goes away. If I click "Ok" it just comes right back. I can move it around, but I can;t get rid of it. Any ideas?
