Hi

my model is HP Pavilion Slimline s3760in Desktop PC

HP Pavilion Slimline s3760in Desktop PC Product Specifications -- In product specifications you can notice that my OS was shipped with Windows Vista Home Premium with Windows Media Center (32-bit) with Vista Service Pack 1

In NVidia website it has mentioned that all the oem model should download from manufacture like hp, dell website only.

IF you check driver update for this model u will find driver available for widows 7 32bitand   windows vista 32bit. Over there you will find original driver for keyboard, nvidia, etc.

so my queries is that i have recently installed windows 8.1 and i wanted these original files to be installed but dont know which one to pick either from vista drivers or windows 7 drivers? but windows 7 drivers are latest when compare with vista.

or should i download nvidia drivers from nvidia website? and also same goes with realtek audio driver from realtek website?

Hi

Realtek drivers are pretty generic so i would recommend installing the latest Windows 8 compatible driver from Realtek official site. Don't install neither Vista nor Win7 drivers as it may cause serious issues later.

 http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsCheck.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false#High Definition Audio Codecs

In case of video driver, i doubt you will get a native Windows 8 driver. If the adapter is not auto detected by Windows, it will be listed Standard VGA Adapter in device manager.First check whether Windows 8 auto detected your display driver. If not, try Nvidia auto detect feature to check for an update.

http://www.nvidia.in/Download/Scan.aspx

You can also check for a driver update online via Device Manager.

No it wont, When the system is "Upgraded" it copies the Driver to the System32 folder or downloads and installs the updated driver.

Hi

Nvidia never released a Windows 8 version of their chipset driver so it is out of question. Windows 8 does have drivers for core components like Nvidia SATA controller etc. That is the only driver really needed from a chipset package so you don't need to be bothered about chipset drivers.

For the TV Tuner, i will post link if i can find a driver. I don't think we will find any as there is no driver for the tuner listed for Windows 7.

After installing Windows 8 and possible driver updates, please post a "System Information report" about your system with next reply. This will let us know which drivers are actually missing and which needs to be updated.

a ) Open RUN dialogue.

b ) Type Msinfo32.exe and press Enter key.

c ) Choose file --> Save and upload the report with your next reply.

If the file size is larger than 512 KB , please use a free file hosting service like http://www.mediafire.com/

Hi

But in NVidia website it says drivers should download from hp, dell etc then only it will work properly.

You can't install neither Windows 7 nor Vista display driver from HP site in Windows 8. Drivers are OS specific and installing driver designed for another OS may lead to hang , freeze or blue screens. If you are lucky, Windows 8 may auto detect the correct driver for your VGA.

also please let me know which driver should I install for my hp multimedia wireless keyboard and mouse model no 5189URF for windows 8.1 pro

There is no Windows 8 driver for your keyboard available. As far as i know, your keyboard's basic functions will work without the need of any special drivers. Only some multimedia keys won't work. You can't except every single thing to work after installing an unsupported OS. If i was you, i will be happy with rock solid "Windows 7" which is officially supported and thus doesn't have this issues.
