If someone sends an email with a photo embedded is there a way to save the photo? I don't see an attachment to click on and when I right click the photo there is no option to save. Is there a way to save the photo?

Thanks.

Outlook 2007

However, based on your email question I set it to an old hotmail account I have and seldom use. There I was able to save the photos normally. Wonder why I could not do so in Outlook?

Thanks for your help.

Because Outlook is configured differently.  I don't use Outlook, but from my research, unless you have Outlook 2010 or later, you cannot save embedded images.  The only workaround is to save the entire e-mail message.  See here: http://rikter.com/articles/2012/9/embedded-images-in-outlook-email/

I also just found an article on how to save embedded images in earlier versions of Outlook. It involves creating a Macro.   I'm not sure what that is.

Here is the link to that article: http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/saveembeddedpictures.htm

Not sure what software or email you are using but in order to save an embedded picture, it always works for me just the "right-click" of the mouse and then save as .jpg or whatever extension you like for photos.
