I click on “The Print Shop 21” and an error message pops up. The box says, “Fatal Execution Engine Error (0x7927e03e)”
I click “OK” and another box will pop up.

This one is called, “tps.exe – Common Language Runtime Debugging Services” and it states:
“Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.
Process id = 0xba4 (2980), thread id = 0xa98 (2712).
Click OK to terminate the application
Click CANCEL to debug application

Naturally, clicking OK ends it all.
Click CANCEL and a new box appears that is called, “tps.exe No debugger found” and it says: “Registered JIT debugger is not available. An attempt to launch a JIT debugger with the following command resulted in an error code of 0x2(2). Please check computer settings.

Cordbg.exe ! a 0x418

Click on RETRY to have the process wait while attaching a debugger manually. Click CANCEL to abort the JIT debugger request.”

If I click on RETRY, the little timer comes on and the computer just sits there. I end up having to log off to get it to stop.

The reason I think it has something to do with Framework 1.1 is because when I try looking up the error codes, it always mentions this program. I tried deleting Framework 1.1 and it wouldn’t delete properly. It was left half installed, half uninstalled. I don’t know how to fix that. Meanwhile, the new Framework 2.0 installed. But that did not resolve the problem.

Can anyone help? I’ve read posts on this problem using a search engine and trying to wade through things at microsoft but nobody ever seems to provide a solution. one post said to uninstall and reinstall framework 1.1, which only made more of a mess as described above. Another post somewhere out there said I have to delete everything and reinstall my entire XP program from scratch. ??

If anyone can help I would really appreciate this! I have Windows XP on a Dell computer.

I would suggest completely removing the .NET Framework 1.1 from Control Panel (to include all hotfixes) and then reinstalling it.

If that doesn't work, I'd suggest trying the .NET Framework v2.0 - it runs just fine on my system!
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
