Hi all.

Different apps of mine have started opening on the desktop beneath my browser webpage, as well as appearing as a new icon on the taskbar for me to click open.

This has only recently begun to happen.

My Reminder app, with it's icon in the system tray, now no longer opens up in my browser, but on the desktop.

I'd be glad of any help with this, please.

Have you tried running the chkdsk /r command...followed by running defrag?

Hello Louis!

My apologies for being so late to respond!

I'll do as you say. The applications are still only opening as an icon in the taskbar instead of on the screen.
