Hi, i get porn pop-ups; casino pop-ups and messages saying: virus alert: spyware detected; along with a yellow, flashing exlamation point.

Whats up with that? I ran all the anti virus , anti malware and anti spyware in safe mode. They all found some, but this is the only that keeps acting up.

So i decided to post my hjk log file here. Anyone care to help me out?

Hello,

It's better to print out the next instructions or save them in notepad, because you also have to work in safe mode without networking support, so this page wouldn't be available then.
It is also important you don't miss a step and perform everything in the right order!!

* Please download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri)
Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.
Don't use it yet.

* Reboot into Safe Mode`: ( without networking support !)
░To get into the Safe mode as the computer is booting press and hold your "F8 Key". Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.

* Start HijackThis, close all open windows leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following if still present:

O2 - BHO: Nothing - {b0398eca-0bcd-4645-8261-5e9dc70248d0} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\hp856C.tmp
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{3C233FAE-44B8-41A9-85CA-9F47BDA26983}: NameServer = 85.255.115.110,85.255.112.26
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{EE76E795-9C60-467E-8B18-F6820222419B}: NameServer = 85.255.115.110,85.255.112.26
O23 - Service: Dolby Audio Service (DolbyAudioService) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\dlbyaudio.exe (file missing)

I guess you added next yourself to your hostsfile?

O1 - Hosts: 66.176.15.130 L2authd.lineage2.com

In case you didn't, check that entry as well in hijackthis.

* Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.
Make sure your Internet Explorer is closed when you click Fix Checked!

Go to start > run and copy and paste next command in the field:

sc delete DolbyAudioService Click ok

* Clean your Cache and Cookies in IE:
  • Close all instances of Outlook Express and Internet Explorer
  • Go to Control Panel > Internet Options > General tab
  • Click the "Delete Cookies" button
  • Next to it, Click the "Delete Files" button
  • When prompted, place a check in: "Delete all offline content", click OK
* Clean your Cache and Cookies in Firefox (In case you also have Firefox installed):
  • Go to Tools > Options.
  • Click Privacy in the menu on the left side of the Options window.
  • Click the Clear button located to the right of each option (History, Cookies, Cache).
  • Click OK to close the Options window
Alternatively, you can clear all information stored while browsing by clicking Clear All.
A confirmation dialog box will be shown before clearing the information.
* Clean other Temporary files + Recycle bin
  • Go to start > run and type: cleanmgr and click ok.
  • Let it scan your system for files to remove.
  • Make sure Temporary Files, Temporary Internet Files, and Recycle Bin are the only things checked.
  • Press OK to remove them.
* Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and press "Enter" to delete infected files.

You will be prompted : "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry ?"; answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter" in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.

The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found); answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter".

The tool may need to restart your computer to finish the cleaning process; if it doesn't, please restart it into Normal Windows.
A text file will appear onscreen, with results from the cleaning process; I need that log afterwards.
The report can also be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

Warning : running option #2 on a non infected computer will remove your Desktop background.

Please download FixWareout from one of these sites:
http://downloads.subratam.org/Fixwareout.exe
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/lonny/Fixwareout.exe

Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish.
The fix will begin; follow the prompts. If your firewall gives an alert, (because this tool will download an additional file from the internet), please don't let your firewall block it, but allow it instead.
Then you will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so. Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.
A log will open afterwards after reboot. I need that log later.

* Perform an onlinescan with panda: (please use this scanner instead of any other scanner!)
Panda Online
- Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button
- A new window will open...click the Check Now button
- Enter your Country
- Enter your State/Province
- Enter your e-mail address and click send
- Select either Home User or Company
- Click the big Scan Now button
- If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
- It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
- When download is complete, click on Local Disks to start the scan
- When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location.
Post the contents of the Panda scan report in your next reply along with a new HijackThis Log,
the contents of rapport.txt which is present on your Homedrive (C:\ in most cases), the contents of the log from Fixwareout, which you will find in the C:\Fixwareout-folder with the name report.txt by using Add Reply.

Hoi,

Hoe werkt alles verder?

Graag gedaan.

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/...xp/iesecxp.mspx

Bezoek ook deze Free Online Scanner for PC Health and Safety

Happy surfing again!!
