I keep getting a pop-up from Norton Internet Security labelled High Risk stating that LXCCserv.exe is attempting to connect to a DNS server and Norton recommends that I always block this connection. It just started today and I haven't installed anything new nor made any changes. It pops up three times in a row every 5 minutes or so.

I ran a full scan on my computer twice and nothing showed up.

Thanks for any help,
Dynen

Since it just started today, the easiest fix would be to use Windows System Restore to reset your system state to a date before the problem began.

Click start>programs>accessories>system tools>system restore

The wizard will open and allow you to select a date from before the PREVIOUS Norton scan (not the one today as you probably became infected between the last previous scan and the scan today that found the problem).

That seems to have fixed it, thank you! I just found this site today and plan to spend a lot of time here learning.

Thanks again,
Dynen
