Happy New Year to All!

I have a Dell Studio running Window 7 Pro., Internet Explorer as browser, and My.MSN as homepage. Bing is my search engine on my homepage. All software updates are current. Malawarebytes and AVG antivirus scans show no infection. PC Matic Scan shows all drivers up to date.

I have a Dell wireless mouse and keyboard. I have adjusted mouse settings in Device Manager.

My mouse will not open anything when I left click in the Bing Search box on my homepage. It won't show the Open menu when I right click. The Search works fine with the left click on the Bing Site, but not on My.MSN.

99% of the time, the left click opens what I want and works fine, but on the rare occasion,  the left click won't work and I must right click to get to Open, which then opens the link, page or file.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Have you tried a new battery in the mouse?

Just a thought
