My computer for some time has had a malware issue.  Every 5 or 10 pages redirect, but just go back and try again and I'm usually able to get to the page I was trying.  There is not a consistent message I'm being directed to - nothing that would help me identify what virus/malware I'm dealing with.

I've run a full scan with MalwareBytes and 120 issues were identified - each starting with PUP.optional and ending with either Wajam, MiniBar, Conduit, Somoto, and InstallIQ

I've run MalwareBytes before and deleted all the files, but it doesn't seem to have helped, so I'm wondering what else I can do.

By the way, I never uninstalled ComboFix, AdwCleaner or tdsskiller from the last time I had an issue several months ago.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

  • Both AdwCleaner.exe, its folder and all logs will be removed.
Step 2
Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
  • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
  • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista, 7, or 8; instead of double-clicking, right-mouse click JRT.exe and select "Run as Administrator".
  • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
  • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
  • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
  • Post the contents of JRT.txt into your next message.
Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your desktop.

  • After rebooting, a logfile report (AdwCleaner[S0].txt) will open automatically.
  • Copy and paste the contents of that logfile in your next reply.
  • A copy of that logfile will also be saved in the C:\AdwCleaner folder.
Step 3
