Hello. I've used Apple's Airport Express as my wireless router for several years. It works although it or the laptop tends to drop the signal. Has router techology advanced over the past five years or so such that I should get a new router? If so, should I stick with apple or should I go with another brand?

Thanks.

(I have a pc not a Mac.)

Dropping signal from time to time is one of those things that can happen with wireless. If your PC is N speed capable then sure you can upgrade and enjoy a bit more speed. But if it's not N speed then you'd need to upgrade the wireless on it and get a new router.

Personally I have never looked into Apple stuff cause I'm not a fan but if you like their products then stay with Apple. But having just looked at prices that seems pricey for not much difference in features and capability.

Hope this helps thumbup.gif
