Hi all, I have been running a VM with an install of Win 7, and after an hour or so after opening an application up in the VM, it BSOD's and shuts down, when restarting it freezes at the windows logo.

I have installed all the latest windows updates and direct x and I'm still getting these problems. A fresh install of the operating system didn't work either.

I have loaded up all the minidump files into Blue Screen View and saved them all.

Hello all ... thank you for the warm welcome and a happy new year to you all!!!

Okay, so the VM's snapshot can be found here and, here for the host (noticed my ram speed is reading like something from the dark ages on the host, Dell locked the ram speed in the bios, so despite having high speed ram, I can't raise or lower the speeds from 800MHz)

The results of MiniToolBox are as follows;

MiniToolBox by Farbar  Version: 18-12-2013

Thank you for posting the results. A couple observations: 2 GB of RAM is bare minimum for running Windows 7. To efficiently run Windows 7 really requires 3 or more. Having a 32 bit system, 3 GB is all it can utilize. Trying to run a VM may asking for more resources than your computer can give. I also noticed that there is no RAM reserved for your graphics card. I'd suggest going to the Dell website and try to download latest drivers. I would also suggest getting more RAM if your motherboard supports more.

Did this originally come with XP? It also looks like 3 RAM slots are in use so do you have a 1GB stick and 2 512MB sticks?
