does anybody happen to know about drivers after an OS reinstall?

hi computer people.
good to see you.
 
does anybody happen to know if you install drivers, then reinstall windows and the driver folders are still physically there on the drive, would this affect your drivers in any way if you were to "reinstall the same drivers", overwriting the file folders of the old drivers?
 
can't get my drivers to all work

Reinstall meaning reformat then reinstall or perform a repair installation?

reinstall, as in delete the OS folder and make a new one but keep all of the data folders still instact.

yes, 

"leave file system intact"

"delete previous windows folder"

"new installation windows folder" 

 

all programs and data are still on the hd.
