Parameter is Incorrect - ARGHHHH!

Good afternoon. Each time I try to run any program on my computer I receive the error message that "The Parameter is Incorrect." Doesn't matter whether it is right after startup or what program it is. I can't open anything. Any and all help is appreciated.

I would guess that it's a file system/partition problem...or a hard drive problem.


If a file system/partition problem...I would try to run the chkdsk /r command.


If a hard drive problem (that may have contributed to problems with the file system/partition), then I would back up any valued data first...then run the SeaTools for DOS diagnostic.


In fact...backing really should be the first step in either case, IMO.
