Posted 26 December 2013 - 12:08 PM

Malwarebytes came across this (PUP.Optional.OpenCandy) while running a scan this morning.   Although it was quarantined and removed, I need to find out if it is still in my system.

Also, a program got installed the other day (although I had specifically declined the offer and unchecked the box) when I was trying to downloaded codecs for my Windows Media Player.  In doing research, I found out that this is a virus.  Correct?  I tried to uninstall it, but it won't go away.

I've enclosed the 2 DDS reports that you require.

Thank you in advance for your help.
