can`t log on to my acer laptop

hi all

 

my son has a acer aspire 5715z, he was messing in the safe mode and went on the security tab and deleted

all the passwords. now when you start the laptop up , there`s a blue box comes up with type current password on it,

when you type it ,its says its wrong, you get 3 go`s then the screen go`s black and you have to log off and then back on.

 can anyone help please.

This sounds like a BIOS password. Does the computer generate an alphanumeric code after the third try?

no it just says locked out , you have to shut down the power and start it back up .

and that just takes you back to the blue box again,

So you are actually at the Windows login screen with a blue box or does this box come up as soon as you power on the computer? You can't press F8 to get into safe mode?

If the passwords were those in the User Accounts then pressing Enter when the password is requested should satisfy the request. 


Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
