Okay, so here are my current specs:

AMD Radeon HD 6450 1GB
Intel i3 3240 at 3.4 ghz
12GB DDR3

My system is an HP 500-123W...

I have a budget of about 300, in you opinion, what is the BEST video card I cant get for this price?

I'm wanting to run games like Far Cry 3 on High, Ultra, or Optimal....
If someone can please help, that'd be great!!!

Hi, your desktop is limited to the selection of graphics card because the power supply Is only 300W, so you will need to upgrade that also.

Recommendations (either of these cards should run far cry 3 on high but may lag in ultra). Also as killerx525 has said you will need to upgrade your power supply as well so I have included my recommendation for that below as well.

AMD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150605

Nvidia: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130826 (This will support physx which is beneficial in some games)'

Power supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139020

Any power supply bigger than 550watts should be enough but it is better to have more than enough as power supplies are more efficient when not at their max output.

If I am helping you with a problem and I have not responded within 48 hours please send me a PM.
